SCCL Summer League

SCCL Summer League tryouts take place on February 2, 2025 at McCurry North Park - 122 McDonough Rd., Fayetteville, GA 30215.  

• 2:00-3:15PM - 2014 Girls, 2013 Girls and 2014 Boys
• 3:30 - 4:45PM - 2013 Boys, 2011/12 Boys, and 2011/12 Girls

We intend to form boys and girls teams for the following groups:

• 2014 Girls
• 2013 Girls
• 2011/12 Girls
• 2014 Boys
• 2013 Boys
• 2011/12 Boys

Summer League teams train 2 times per week for 90 minutes per training session. Typical times are from 5:30pm to 7:00pm or 7:00pm to 8:30pm at either McCurry Park or Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Field in Fayetteville, or the Peachtree City Athletic Complex in Peachtree City.

Approximately half of the Summer League games are at home (McCurry Park or PAC) and half of the away games are in the Metro Atlanta area. Teams will play between 6-10 games that are typically held on Saturdays and Sundays beginning June  and ending mid July.

We understand that the summer can be a busy time for many families with vacations, camps and other commitments. We account for that by taking larger than normal rosters so there are plenty of players for training and games. Missing a week or two is OK!

The registration fee is $445. Players will wear the 2024-25  AFC Lightning uniform so there is no additional cost for players who currently have this uniform.
