AFC Lightning’s Sizzlin’ Summer Soccer

The Sizzlin’ Summer Soccer is a pre-season opportunity for teams to see what they have before the bigger tournaments start. With this in mind, the tournament will be played as friendlies, trying to find the best match ups to allow teams to play against other teams at their level. Without the pressure of playing for a trophy, coaches will find this tournament an ideal one to experiment with their line ups and and to see what they they really have going into the new season.

The tournament is USYSA sanctioned but will accept teams from other other organizations such as US Club Soccer.  Click here for the tournament web site. 

AFC Lightning Adidas Academy Classic
November 20 & 21
U9-U12 Boys and Girls

The AFC Lightning Adidas Academy Classic will in November for Select teams from U9 - U12.  This is good timing for a good end of the season tournament for the U9 - U12 Academy teams before the Thanksgiving Day break.  Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games.

The tournament is USYSA sanctioned but will accept teams from other other organizations such as US Club Soccer.  Click here for the tournament website.

AFC Lightning Adidas Thanksgiving Classic
November 26 - 28
U13-U19 Boys and Girls 

The AFC Lightning Adidas Thanksgiving Classic is a three day event for Select teams from U13 to U19.  This is good timing for Northern teams to come down and enjoy a little southern hospitality and some quality games against some of the top teams in the Southeast portion of the United States over the holiday weekend.  Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games.

The tournament is USYSA sanctioned but will accept teams from other other organizations such as US Club Soccer.

AFC Lightning 3v3 Winter Classic
January 29 & 30, 2011
Ages: U8 - Adult

AFC Lightning invites you to enter the AFC Lightning 3v3 Winter Classic.  Teams of up to six players will compete in a 3v3 tournament format and will participate in a minimum of at least three games.

The tournament will take place at the Baseball Soccer Complex (BSC) in Peachtree City, GA one of the main homes to AFC Lightning. Come out and enjoy a weekend playing soccer with your friends and family.
