Patel played three years of varsity soccer at Belton-Honea Path High School from 1996-1998.  Patel received an academic scholarship and passed on playing college to focus on his studies.

Patel was the head coach of the Junior Varsity girls soccer team at Upson-Lee High School from 2007-2010. During that time my team went 11-0 in 2008 and we won the Griffin JV Tournament in 2010.

Patel is a business education teacher at Upson Lee Middle School since 2006.  Patel lives in Senoia with his wife Jennifer and have been married since September 2, 2010.
